Lifestyle Account Manager is looking for a talented writer to contribute to our magazine-style nightlife and lifestyle blog which covers nightlife, music, fashion, culinary and other “in-the-know” happenings.

If you’re obsessed with lifestyle and writing about lifestyle, then this position will allow you to grow your portfolio and professional recognition in your field. Perks include gaining access to exclusive events, festivals, and restaurants, music shows, and more. There will be a considerable amount of writing in this position as you will be expected to write about events as they happen and be the voice of the lifestyle and nightlife scene.

Depending and experience and expertise, you will be expected to write about some or all of the following:

  • Overseeing the Lifestyle Interns department

  • Information on nightlife venue openings, closings and why

  • Understanding the scene and what it takes to get into the hottest clubs

  • Reviews of special events and parties

  • Nightlife gossip and news

  • Profiles on/interviews with the hottest local bands/artists

  • Interviews with music venue owners, sound engineers, etc.

  • Interviews with music trendsetters on the movement in local music

  • Coverage of music events

  • Fashion designer interviews

  • Fashion events coverage

  • Restaurant and wine bar reviews

  • Interviews with restaurant owners, chefs, and mixologists

  • Reviews and roundups dining in your area

  • Celebrity hotspot coverage

  • Review of nightclub restaurants and lounges

  • Reporting on restaurant specials, trends and new openings

  • Cultural events coverage and reviews

We are looking for creative individuals who are committed to writing several short posts per week for  our new magazine-style site, You must be able to work with tight deadlines, be reliable, and a self-starter, and most importantly love to write.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Marketing, Communications, PR, Business) or equivalent experience

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a rigorous attention to detail

  • Extroverted, self-motivated and resilient with strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to handle high pressure situations with confidence in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills

  • A flexible schedule is mandatory- work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays

  • Candidates must live within the Tri-State area, with the ability to efficiently travel to and from the NYC office

  • Travel to outside markets may be required

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills with a strong proficiency in spreadsheet applications

Pay: Starting $35k+ based on experienced
